Just curious to know if anyone has ever got 800 in GMAT....The maximum score I have ever heard is 780.

So is it true that even if one get all questions right...the score would not be higher than 780??

Based on the design of the test, I would expect a few hundred 800 scores per annum and about one thousand or so scores operationally indistinguishable from 800.

GMAC claims that less than 50 people score 800 every year.
