Hi everyone,
I recently took the GMAT for the first time and scored 675 (94th percentile). My previous score was 535, so I was extremely happy with the improvement and wanted to share a quick review of my preparation with Target Test Prep (TTP).
My Score
My Experience with TTP
The biggest thing I liked about TTP was how structured the course was. Each topic starts from the fundamentals and gradually builds toward more advanced concepts, which made it easy to follow even when I was learning something from scratch.
The tests after every topic were also extremely useful. They included questions of varying difficulty and helped me identify which topics I had mastered and which ones needed more work.
Quant
The Quant material was very comprehensive and covered all the concepts I needed. I liked the progression from fundamentals to harder applications, along with the topic tests that reinforced each concept.
Verbal
I particularly liked the depth of the Verbal explanations. TTP focuses on understanding the underlying logic behind different question types rather than just teaching shortcuts. This helped me become much more comfortable with unfamiliar Verbal questions.
Data Insights
DI was also explained very well. One thing that helped me significantly was learning how to identify the relevant information and what data could be ignored. This made questions with large tables, charts, or lots of information much more manageable.
TTP Team
The TTP team was also very helpful and responsive whenever I had questions or needed clarification during my preparation.
Overall
Going from 535 to 675 was a significant improvement for me, and I believe having a structured preparation approach played a major role.
For someone preparing for the GMAT, especially starting from a relatively lower score, I found TTP to be a structured and comprehensive resource. The fundamentals-first approach, topic-level tests, varying difficulty of questions, and detailed explanations worked really well for me.
I'm very happy with my 675 (94th percentile) and would definitely recommend TTP to someone looking for a structured GMAT preparation course.

- Data Insights: 80 — 83rd percentile

How many months you have taken to retake the test? How many months course that was for TTP?
