Hi,
I would like to have advice regarding whether should I retake GMAT or start applying with my GMAT Score of 605 (Q-86, V-79, D-75).
My Background as follows:
Citizen - Indian
Profession - Chartered Accountant with Majorly in Accounts & Finance.
Work Experience - 6+ Years
Other - Worked with World-known Brands of India, also have international project exposure of 4 months in London.
I did my BCOM as well as MCOM.
Club - Part of Toastmaster International Club for > 1 year, where I tried to improve my communication (as my schooling till grade 10th is in Hindi Medium) & leadership skills.
Other Achievements - My entire schooling till grade 10th was in vernacular medium, however from class 11th there is shift in entire subject to english, I was not only able to manage the such huge shift but also able to make in college topper list (2nd position). Also, since I was doing my graduation & chartered accountacny together my CGPA has impacted bit down side, however I cleared all my chartered accountant examination in 1st attempt (which has only 8% pass rate)
I'm in bit dilemma of whether should I retake or go ahead with my current GMAT Score.
Need guidance which college can I target with my current GMAT Score of 605.

Your GMAT score of 605 is on the lower side for competitive MBA programs, especially for top schools where the average is significantly higher. However, your strong CA background, international exposure, and leadership roles in Toastmasters add strength to your profile. If you are targeting mid-tier programs, you may proceed with applications, focusing on strong essays and recommendations. If aiming for top schools, consider a retake to push your score closer to 665+. Research schools where your experience aligns well, such as those with strong finance and accounting programs, and reach out to alumni for insights.
