GMAT 660 Debrief

Thought will share my latest experience of a 660 score on GMAT. I used the OG materials and was in for a surprise on the test day!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience and sorry about the surprise. I think it’s no secret official guide is exactly the collection of questions you’ll see on the test nor is it rich in strategies to help you on the test… but it still is valuable as a source of official questions, especially verbal official questions….

Was 660 the goal you were aiming for? Also, I'm curious about the surprise you mentioned on test day – does that mean you found the OG didn't quite match up with the actual test experience?

Yes I do wish to rewrite the exam

and yes practicing with the OG felt like a ego boost but the exam didn't match up in difficult. I found the geometry and shaded region questions time consuming and different then anything I've encountered before. There was more algebra and simplification questions too where I just couldn't crack the trick.

The score is wayy below my expectation but I'm on the journey now. No stopping until I live up to my username.
