Hi all! I have just retaken my GMAT and scored 30 points higher from my previous try (I got 720 compared to 690 previously), which is something that I am very grateful of!
However, I noticed something off with the split:
First try: Total 690, Q46 V38
Second try: Total 720, Q48 V41
So in a way, looking at the split, I got a total of 5 splits increment (2 in Q and 3 in V) for a grand total of 30 points increase.
However, I have seen people scoring 750 with Q49 V42 (yes, BB, you're one of them). This would only be 2 splits increment for a grand total of 30 points.
Can someone explain how this works? I may be able to retake the GMAT once more, and will be aiming for 750 score. Is it true that to get 750 I just need to be "1 notch better in both Q and V"?
Thanks!
