Re: GMAT 740: Please suggest apt Bschools [#permalink]
Hey EddyTeddy - you also posted a request for a profile review in the EssaySnark forum and we're gonna give more details for you there, but just briefly for anyone who may be reading this one here:

Management consulting is broad, which is great - that means that there's lots of jobs available, and you can go into a variety of directions with it.

It also means that pretty much any bschool can prepare you for it.

Which means that we can't really suggest any specific schools - since the first criteria of school selection should be the career goals.

Which means we can't do a good job with a question like this since we'd have to say "Any of them" - which is a super-lame and unhelpful answer.

What works a lot better is for you as the consumer of this future MBA to go out and do some research and figure out which schools are appealing to you. Then come back and ask here in the forums for reactions to that - "Does School X make sense for me, given this background and goals?" If you start with some of your own ideas, it's way easier for us as consultants to give reactions and feedback - you'll be able to get more useful input that way.

We'll also speak to some specifics in your profile in that other thread but we wanted to throw that out there, in case anyone else stumbles on this with a similar question. :-)
