, especially as some of the schools you mentioned have quite high GMAT scores for their MiM programs. It sounds like your GPA thus far may be one of your main weaknesses? And then, while I like that you've got some extracurricular activities, it's harder to discern if you have demonstrated leadership anywhere thus far? That would also help. And I'm not sure how much community service you've done or what that commitment has been like as you've mentioned it; that will also help. At this point you've got a mixture of strengths & weaknesses and can probably give some of the schools on your list a shot; your personal statement and recommendations will likely make a strong impact as well, since that is where the schools are really trying to get to know you. As for longer term plans, I would say it's more common to do EITHER the MiM earlier in the career, OR the MBA a handful of years later.... less common to do both, though it does happen... but maybe do some research and long-term thinking to see what path you think makes most sense for you.
