Hello guys,
I am really happy to share my profile with you and get your feedback on my candidacy to top MBA schools.
I took the GMAT with the intention of doing it once thus a high score was my main focus. I received 760 GMAT score (90%) , Quant 50 (89%) , Verbal 44 (98%), AWA 5.5 (80%), IR 7 (82%)
however my GPA is 2.9.
I have two years of experience, I am a CAIA ( Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) , Passed CFA level 1, works as an Investment Associate for a sovereign wealth fund in the middle east and have a study sponsorship.
What are my chances to get into top 5 b schools ? I have an admission consultant and she says I have a good profile that I come from a different nation with high ambitions. Even though my GPA was a concern, she was the reason that I aimed for higher GMAT score. Based on her words, my score will help explaining that my GPA is not an indicator for my abilities but the GMAT. In addition to that, my profile being from an Arab country has the potential to be considered due to the cultural diversity those schools seek.
What do you think gentlemen ?
