Hi there,
Thanks for posting, and CONGRATS on that outstanding GMAT score!!
I think with a score that high, you will get a second look at most schools... but that said, at top 10 schools, that score alone is not enough to get you in (and to a certain degree, even at schools outside top 10).... in other words, your profile, experiences and application all make an impact and can influence the ultimate decision. Just based on what you've shared here, I am wondering... what leadership experiences if any do you have? what have you accomplished? how do you work on teams? have you influenced/motivated others at any point? have you made an impact in any way? what are your passions? what about you is unique? Schools will be asking all of these as well.
You are part of a common applicant profile (Indian IT/engineering applicants) so there is a need to stand out even beyond the GMAT, and to show how you may differ from the typical Indian IT profile.... so do think leadership, people skills, communication skills, etc.
I also haven't heard about your goals.... WHY do you want the MBA? what will you do with it? how do you see your short and long term post MBA career goals? This is all part of your story and makes a difference... so you're off to a great start with that GMAT, now work on those applications and essays and showing more about who you are ! Keep us posted on q's or how we can help.
