Should I take the GMAT after getting a GRE score of 327 (V158, Q169)? If so, what are the benefits of giving the GMAT?
That is a good GRE score. You're in the safe score range I guess. You can certainly try to take GMAT, it will definitely add value, but, GRE is also given weight these days.
It is just that a handful of schools produce average GRE score and range. So, try to get an idea of GRE rangers in bigger B-schools and assume that the lower ones definitely have somewhat lower scores. That's one way, but your application as a whole should be very appealing depending on the target B-school

Hi Seth1998,

First off, a 327/Q169 is a fantastic Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you (assuming that they accept the GRE Score as part of the application). As such, taking the GMAT is probably not necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Hi Seth1998,

327 with Q169 is a very nice score! As long as your desired schools do not prefer the GMAT to the GRE, I don’t think that you need to take the GMAT. If for any reason you decide to take the GMAT, feel free to reach back out. Good luck!
