Thanks for the information sir, Wouldn't it be right if I take the gmat this year and apply for the application which rolls out in January 2021?

How much experience will you have before the program starts? If it's under 2 years, an MiM would work well.

Beyond that, you'll have to evaluate if it makes sense to discard all that experience (which also means a significant opportunity cost) to head back into a class filled with mostly fresh grads.

I'm off the work totally and planning to prepare right away for the gmat this year.

Graduation year :2018
Age: 23
Planning to apply for Jan-Feb LBS AND HEC 2021 intake applications.
Not working right now.

It would be great if you could shed some light on this confusion.

That little detail adds a new layer to the story!

Hope you have a strong reason for the career break. Admission officers would want to know what happened.

The other angle is that you'd still need to be gainfully employed since neither of the two programs is going to start soon.

If your primary aim is to use the MiM to cover the gap, that may not be a good idea. The question will resurface after you complete the degree when you're talking to recruiters.

I'm guessing there are more aspects to this than you're comfortable sharing here. Here's what you can do.

Start working on your GMAT, since that's going to take time.

In parallel, look for a good job that's aligned with your long term interests.

Continue thinking about what you really want from the degree. Connect with MiM grads from your target programs and find out how students with experience have fared.

You'll have better clarity over the coming months.

Sounds like a good way forward?
