Hi Sohom,

All the best. I myself am in the process of preparing and will be taking the exam in December for the second time. I am an e-gmat student and already feeling a difference in my prep using e-gmat thought methods. I suggest to check out their free videos and free live sessions to evaluate if these will help you as well. Check on gmat club for other course providers and since almost all of them do give few free lessons you should check them and then decide on one to help your prep. Honesty speaking just using books might not be a great idea but again GMAT is such an exam that everyone has to make their own plans and own strategies. So take a few days to evaluate some courses and material and then zero-in on which suits you best and then make plan and deep dive. OG is still the best book to practice. Also do make sure that you take a 4 hour CAT as suggested by Rich. This will give you a feeling of the exam and also help you understand your current ability, strong areas and weak areas so that you can put your energies into those places more during prep. Finally the most important point which I feel is needed it discipline and honestly with your study plan. Do not aim to over achieve (a mistake I have don lot when creating a plan and actual implementation). Take a weekly stock of the plan and if you see that you are not able to follow it, stop and re-plan to make sure the planning is more realistic and achievable.

All the best and Happy studying :) :)

If my post makes some sense please give KUDOS :)
