I preferred Princeton Review. They break down the GMAT into manageable chunks and the strategies work very well. They're also a little goofy about it, but not childish. I didn't bother with the Kaplan book because I was happy with PR.

Without even an iota of doubt..Kaplan....make it a point to buy both math and verbal workbooks from Kaplan.What I like abt PR ...is their sentence correction startegy..the 7 rules that they state.For the record you gotta have tests from both Kaplan and PR.
