Hi all there,
Yesterday I took the free Verita's CAT with the new feature of order section, I choosed Q-V-IR-AWA, I was very surprised with my results, my last GMAT experience was three weeks ago with a devastating 470 (Q37 and V19), before the exam, I did four practice tests, all of them around the 500-530, my weakness definitely is verbal section, I had scores between 15 and 21, no more than that. After my horrible experience I have been studying 3-4 hours a day for three weeks and I decided to take a CAT with this new section order, the results are amazing, I got a 45 in quant (I already had this result in a past GMAT PREP CATs) and a 28 in verbal, yes 8 points of improvement!
I know that my score can be a result of my study schedule of this three weeks, but now I doubt, is it possible an improvement like that? I felt the quant section pretty easy, regarding the verbal section, I felt SC very hard, and CR very easy (my strenght of the three sections in verbal). Somebody can help me to figure out if Veritas CAT is accurate?
On the other hand, the new section order works very well for me, I felt less tired, I was more concentrated on the verbal section, but with my mind already warm-up with quant section. I totally recommend to change the sections if you feel too much tired at the end of the exam. In general, I did all the sections better, even AWA, because I was more relax thinking that those two last sections doesn't matter for my target score (600-650).
Hope somebody can help me with my doubts.
Thanks in advance!
