Hi,
So after a dismal 700 in the first attempt, and I am back to books to prepare for the second attempt.
First, I believe its extremely unfair to students who have to suffer because of invigilators and test centers. I screwed up my verbal section big time because of the markers. I asked for a replacement at least 10 times and unfortunately, none of them worked properly. Around the 33rd question, I had actually given up and was contemplating rejecting my scores. However, when the screen showed 700, I thought it would be in my best interest if I accepted it.
The final score read 700 Q49, V 37, IR 7, AWA 6.Question: Do you think I should raise a complaint with GMAC? I have taken a date for next month since I did not want to forego my score even if GMAC provided me with the option of a retake. Second, what should be the strategy now? I don't have a lot of study material as I completed most of it while preparing for the first attempt.
I plan to use the Powerscore LR Bible for CRs. What practice material should I use with it? I have LSAT tests for RCs. Can I use the same for CRs too?
For sentence correction, I would go back to Manhattan SC guide. I have roughly 400 questions left from 1000 SC. What other source can I pick for SC.
I have bought the GMAT question bank and the optional GMAT practice tests. I have 3
MGMAT tests left and 4 from Veritas.
Quant: I would use the
GMAT club tests, I have around 12 left. Can somebody suggest a resource for Quant that targets 700+ plus questions?
What other resources can I use?
Thanks.
