I've noticed that GMAT Club assigns a difficulty level to each question, ranging from sub-505 to 805+. I’m curious about how these difficulty levels correlate with actual GMAT scores.
For example, if I consistently answer questions in the 705-805 range correctly, does that mean I’m likely to score around 695 on the actual exam? Or is it necessary to answer questions at the 700+ level to achieve a score in that range?
I’d appreciate any insights on how these difficulty levels reflect real GMAT performance and whether focusing on specific difficulty bands is a reliable indicator of my potential score. Thanks in advance!

These correspond to the difficulty levels of questions so imagine you have all the questions arranged in a progressive line of difficulty and then you split them into seven groups and you give those groups name. Maybe the group’s name is very hard questions or maybe the group name is 805.
There is no magic formula but I can tell you that most likely you will only encounter one or two really hard questions on your test (per section) so it’s much better use of time and resources if you can answer all of the easy and medium questions correct correctly every time instead of chasing hard ones.

Thank you so much, bb, for your insight. Would you say that anything below 605 is easy and anything below 705 is medium, or is 705 still considered medium and only 805+ considered hard?
