How good will it be to start preparing for sc from gmat club grammar book? Will it be useful? If yes what should be my strategy after completing this book ? Should I straight away start solving problem on sc or should I read another book of sc ?

I'm not really familiar with the GMAT Club grammar book, but I can tell you that, regardless of what verbal prep resource you use, in order to achieve your score goal, you need also a clear understanding of what verbal tests and how to prepare for it.

Hi. You do want a good understanding of Grammar. GMAT Club grammar book is specifically for international students/applicants going deeper than most (e.g. MGMAT) covering not only the usual topics such as Comparisons, Subject Verb agreement, and parallel structure but also topics such as articles, verb tenses, subjunctive, link verbs, etc.
Obviously someone can argue that things such as articles are not tested a whole lot on the GMAT, but it helps with subject verb agreement, let alone with your personal writing and general reference. We tried to limit the grammar only to what is useful on the GMAT and questions that folks often have as to "why is this wrong" or "why can't you say it this way".
