School Forum Moderator Qualifications:
- Must be done with the GMAT
- Must be active in the school discussion
- Must have 50 posts for a School Threadmaster or 200 posts for a Moderator
- Must be applying to the school
Interesting in Joining the Moderator Team?
Qualifications:
(Ideally a moderator would)
- Meet the requirements for GMAT or School Moderator
- Demonstrate a friendly and helpful nature.
- Have a high comfort level with GMAT Club, the topics and the personalities of members.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have the flexibility to check into GMAT Club frequently. Moderation typically only takes a few minutes, but it's good to be able to check three or four times during the day to see what's being asked and said.
- Be familiar with posting, editing, and formatting posts.
- Be able to commit to at least a 3-month period.
Application Process:
Please PM BB and answer the following questions:
- Which forum or forums would you like to moderate? (please consult the chart above for open positions)
- Why did you choose that forum?
- What would you improve as a moderator?
- Are you affiliated with any GMAT-related companies, organizations, communities?
Responsibilities:
Please see specific tasks for each forum above but in general it would be:
- Keep forum organized
- Create and update Stickies
- Regular participation and engagement (at least 50 posts/20 Kudos/100 mod actions per month)
- Welcome and Help new members
- Keeping the content organized - merge posts, split topics, keep discussion on topic, delete spam, etc
