Hey everyone,
I apologize if this question has been asked many times before (my searches didn't return much): is the GMAT Club book a good resource for more advanced quant studying? Or was it primarily made as a good initial resource for those who are beginning their studies to get a good overall background in the math concepts covered on the exam.
Basically, would it be good for someone trying to push into the high 40s/50/51 on the quant section?

Before we can discuss what study materials might best help you to achieve your Score Goals, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying so far and your overall goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Good question. I feel the GMAT Club math book mostly focuses on topics people have issues with and things not well documented in other sources. It doesn’t have much focus on the very basics because the guys who wrote it really didn’t want to start from the very very beginning. I would say everyone who wrote it had a Q 50 or above and I think it’s appropriate for any level frankly. But it was never designed to be a single source of information or a replacement for a course or a set of study books like Manhattan guides for example. Instead it was made to help cover topics in more detail and provide more in depth overview of certain areas. But it was never designed to be a single source of information or a replacement for a course or a set of study books like Manhattan guides for example.
