The question 1 is ambiguous. There are two possible interpretations:

(1)"This record label’s average revenue per button sold was higher than the average for each other labels."
(2)"This record label’s average revenue per button sold was higher than the average for other labels combined.".

compare with the original
(original) "This record label’s average revenue per button sold was higher than the average for other labels."

(1)'s interpretation compares the record label's average revenue per button sold against each other label individually, while (2) compares it against the collective average of all other labels combined.

(1) would led to "False" as the answer, because you can't infer this from the data, since you dont have information about the other companies individually, only combined.

OA/OE suggests (2) is implied.

This item could be more well written, in my oppinion

Yes, the question could have been more clear.

Hi. This is a poor quality question so it probably should not be used. I’ll move it out into the archive
