I'm going through the Quant section of a free test in
GMAT Club Test Centre - I'm, finding it extremely hard..... I took the test a few weeks ago with almost no prep and scored 610 (the Quant really let me down) but don't remember it being anywhere near as hard as the qns I'm seeing here.
Are these representative of what I should expect to see in the real test? I don't want to waste valuable time preparing for something that I'm not realistically going to see.
thanks
A
The
GMAT Club test questions are harder than average. They are designed for the Q50 and Q51 test takers.
So if you are on Q45 level, then these are not representative of your level and your expectation is to see easier questions on the test day.
If you are up there, Q49 and higher, then these questions match the harder questions you will encounter (not all questions but harder ones). The scoring system, however, adjusts for the greater percentage of the harder questions.
Hope this answers it.
Thanks,
BB
Can I ask when you say the questions are designed for Q50 and Q51, are you referring to mostly the 700 level questions? I ask this because I am facing a lot of difficulty even in the 600 level questions.
