GMAT club test package MAGOOSH COURSE vs E-GMAT VERBAL ONLINE [#permalink]

Mate,

I have both subscriptions, e-gmat and magoosh. I can tell you for sure, @e-gmat is simply brilliant to what concerns verbal part. SC and CR explanations are so thorough, that you can see how your accuracy goes up while you learn ( RC - still to look into it).
Magoosh, if you aim to score at least 40 on Quant, just by watching the videos and by applying what you have learned is sufficient. Cannot say much on verbal. SC focuses more on finding splits/grammatical errors rather than on understanding the logical meaning of the sentence. mikemcgarry from Magoosh is a great teacher, and beyond what you see in magoosh verbal videos, I strongly recommend following him on GMATClub as well. Moreover, I recommend watching Tuesdays with Kevin (Magoosh).

Hi jaspreets,

Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at out site (www.empowergmat.com) as well as some special offers for members of this site. When investigating the various Courses, I suggest that you take advantage of all of the free materials, then choose the Course that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

If you have any additional question, then just let me know.
