Why is is that most gmat club test quant questions are part of retired discussions or approx 7-8 years back posted on the forum .?

I don't know that I can answer questions that are vague without specifics. So this is going to be a guess and I hope you are satisfied with it
We only keep one discussion per question and if someone starts a second one we retire those discussions. That's most likely why a question would be retired. Another reason is updating the question and thus the discussion no longer makes sense and is no longer relevant because the question has been revised/modified. However, I don't know that "most" would apply and anyone could say how many have been retired over the years - I don't think anyone knows... except you I guess
