Hello bb, I went to this link and out of the 5 reviews posted, 4 reviewers seemed to have zero prior posts on gmatclub, and one had 1 post. So, wanted to understand how you verify the authenticity of these reviews.
I am also a part of a Bangalore based GMAT Coaching center, and would like our institute to participate in these reviews. Can you please let me know the procedure (kindly send me a PM, if that makes more sense).
There is also another related point I wanted to highlight. Many GMAT institutes (while I am specifically talking of Bangalore, I would think it would not be too different elsewhere) claim a lot of things that might not be entirely true. In fact, some or lot of claims (such as results, scores of their students etc.) might be blatantly false or misleading. While ethics and morality is one part of the debate, this kind of mis-information directly impacts the following:
1. Institutes that are ethical and publish/claim only authentic information
2. Most importantly, the prospective students who get swayed by these mis-leading claims
Clearly institutes take liberty of mis-propaganda, since there is no neutral/un-biased agency, which can authenticate the claims (audit) made by various institutes. If this was possible, prospective students would clearly be the biggest beneficiaries.
Since GC stands tall in terms of neutrality and fairness, I was wondering if GC also has any mechanism in place to verify the authenticity of claims made by various institutes.
