Mastering the critical reasoning mainly depends on how well you know the basics. The maximum chunk of CR questions belongs to strengthen, weaken, and assumption questions. In order to increase the accuracy in these three question types specifically, get down to the basic and spend time on understanding ‘the assumption’. The assumption is the backbone of the argument. Till the time the assumption remains true, the conclusion remains valid. Moreover, assumption can only be extreme if the conclusion is also extreme, otherwise it cannot be extreme. Next, route the strengthen or weaken answer through the assumption. This will help you even predict the outcomes in certain scenarios. So, knowing these basics can help in quick eliminations and in reaching to the correct answers easily.
