Hey all,
I've taken the GMAT several times in the past. My score peaked at 680 (V41, Q41) in 2018. This score was in line with my scores on practice exams, but I couldn't help but think I under-performed since I had to rush through much of the exam. I had to stop studying due to work obligations so I took 4 months off at the end of 2018.
Starting in 2019, I decided to refocus my efforts on conquering the GMAT. During this time, I studied from a number of different sources including
Manhattan Prep,
Magoosh, and
OG materials. I also took all of the GMAT Prep practice exams and scored 700+ on each.
Recently, on July 21, I took another official GMAT exam and scored 660 (V38, Q43). I was shocked by this result as I felt very strong during the exam, both in Q and V. Can someone help diagnose what went wrong. I've attached my ESR for your review.
Obviously, the second portion of the verbal section was devastating, but I don't recall anything being particularly tricky in this section. It's worth noting that I had to rush through the last three questions. I wonder if I misread a key premise in an RC passage, or something.
Appreciate any help I can get as I continue my GMAT journey. Thanks!
