Hi Everyone,
I have been preparing for the GMAT for 2 months now. Have practiced from OG 2020 + Verbal Review + Quant Review + MGMAT SC+RC+CR and am pretty confident now.

These are my mock scores:
GMAT OP1 - Q47 V29 IR4 620
MGMAT1 - Q44 V36 IR7.3 660
MGMAT2 - Q44 V36 IR4.5 660
MGMAT3 - Q45 V36 IR7.3 670
MGMAT4 - Q46 V32 IR6.6 640
MGMAT5 - Q47 V36 IR5.2 680
MGMAT6 - Q45 V38 IR3.8 690
GMAT OP2 - Q50 V38 IR8 720
GMAT OP3 - Q50 V39 IR8 730
GMAT OP4 - Q50 V35 IR8 700

I am aiming for 750, and i would need stronger verbal skills.
My GMAT is in 7 days. Any last week advice ?
Thank you!

Hi Gem,

To start, since you're so close to Test Day, you have to be careful about trying to do too much studying. In these last few days, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.

Many Schools still do not place much (if any) emphasis on an Applicant's IR Score - but if you want to know how a particular Program views the IR component of the GMAT, then you should contact that Program directly and ask (and the Admissions Department will likely be happy to answer any Admissions questions that you have). With highly-competitive Schools, no GMAT Score will 'guarantee' you anything, but if you score 700+, then you should be fine to apply to any Programs that interest you . Beyond a high GMAT Score, you will also need a strong OVERALL profile AND you will need to properly 'market yourself' to each individual Program that you apply to.

For the fatigue issue, you might want to consider what you eat for breakfast and what you eat during your two 8-minute breaks during the Exam.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
