Hi everyone. I have been seeing that my quant score drops heavily in mocks for getting even 1 question wrong.Below are some of the scenarios from my mocks:
Mock 1 (Order of sections: Quant, Verbal, DI)
3 question incorrect, did not edit any questions — Q84
Mock 2 (Order of sections: Quant, Verbal, DI)
1 question incorrect, did not edit any questions — Q85
Mock 3 (Order of sections: Verbal, Quant, DI)
Edited 1 question from incorrect to correct, all correct — Q90
Mock 4 (Order of sections: Verbal, Quant, DI)
No edits, all correct — Q90
Mock 5 (Order of sections: Verbal, Quant, DI)
No edits, 1 incorrect — Q85

Probably, when you get all but one correct and get dinged for five points, the question you missed was a medium-difficulty question. The Focus Edition scoring is pretty harsh when it comes to missed medium-difficulty questions.
