Wow !!!

So GMAT FOCUS wants us to do additional math to interpret RESPONSE TIME
Seems like GMAC really wants us to improve our DI skills

I need to multiply Response time with 60 to convert it to seconds. Then , the result will be understandable.

So 1.73*60 = 103.8 seconds = 60 + 44 ~~which boils down to 1 min 45 seconds

Anyway . Thanks Marty.

PS: Just out of Curiosity . Why would GMAC make it complicated ? MartyMurray .
Maybe you made it complicated. :)

This is more complicated than necessary.

So 1.73*60 = 103.8 seconds = 60 + 44
You could just say, that's 1 minute and .73 x 60 or 44 seconds.

Or you could just take the number as is, and say, "It took me about 1 3/4 minutes," and not worry about the seconds.

What does 1.73 minutes mean ? 1 min and 73 seconds ?

1.73 minutes = 103.8 seconds (or 1 minute and 43.8 seconds)

Becoming familiar with converting may even help with certain GMAT questions.
