If I want to give GMAT Focused today for MBA after 3 yrs. 94% Percentile would end up as 660 something, could that be associated to a lower percentile in future as more people take the exam??

Hi A567345,

Yes, it's possible (but we don't know whether it is likely). The percentiles we see right right now aren't from actual Focus edition tests, and test takers are highly motivated to aim for high DI scores on the Focus edition.

I remember back when the new ("Revised") GRE came out in 2011, ETS expected a Q170 to be 99% and Q169 to be 98%. Q170 is now 94% (Q169 is 91%).

It could. Percentiles change for GMAT too but very slowly since it is a long established format.
But what the actual GMAT Focus percentiles will look like, we cannot say. GMAC has given estimates, but that is what they are - estimates.

The way I see it, DI percentiles could be different because people did not pay much attention to IR till now. Going forward, since DI score will be integrated into the main score, people's efforts will increase in this section. Also, they may not be happy with a mid 600 score now if they were aiming for 700 previously. This may result in even more effort.

Here is a post in which I have discussed a couple of these points: https://anaprep.com/gmat-vs-gmat-focus- ... ld-i-take/
