Hey singh8891

Welcome to GMATClub!

Since you are almost done with the theory(from the Manhattan guides), you are all set with the basic strategy.
From now on, I would recommend you to do the following

1. The first step is to take one of the two free GMATPrep mocks which are available free on the mba.com website.
This will give you a clear idea of where you stand. The next step would be to understand what your weak areas
are and then take another test after you have fixed those mistakes. For example, if the test shows that you need
to work on Assumption in the CR Section(as it is the topic where you have made maximum mistakes), you must
work on Assumptions preferably from the PowerScore CR Bible.

Thereafter, you should purchase the GMAT Prep tests (which contains 2 exam packs - EP1 & EP2 and a question
pack) and take these tests one a week and work on all the weak areas over the next week.

Verbal Section Prep
For RC, you could refer to the below-given link
https://gmatclub.com/forum/guide-to-rea ... 21112.html
For practice, you can find all the questions at GMATClub. Make use of the Timer feature to time yourself once you
are familiar with the concepts. Some links you might find useful for finding questions in the Verbal Section

SC: https://gmatclub.com/forum/sentence-cor ... 29750.html
CR: https://gmatclub.com/forum/critical-rea ... 28861.html

Quant Section Prep
Follow Bunuel. Solve all the questions in his signature. They contain some awesome questions that give you the true
taste of GMAT(Baker's Dozen, 12 Easy Pieces, Fresh Meat etc..). Make it a habit to sure you solve all questions that
he puts up on the forum. This alone will be more than sufficient to improve your scores in GMAT Quant.

PS: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-ps-ques ... 27957.html
DS: https://gmatclub.com/forum/ds-question- ... 28728.html

This post details the preparation strategy needed during the last phase of your Quant prep.

Hope this helps you!

Hi singh8891,

If you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in Quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

Further taking multiple mocks might help. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.

Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practise tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.

I would also encourage you to purchase the GMATPREP QP 1 for some great additional practice.

Hope this helps. All the best.

Well, you've got some time.

In your 45 days - I would allocate the first 5-7 days strictly on SC - master sentence structure and it will help you to read CR/RC passages that much faster.

During your SC studies, we encourage you to follow along expert video explanations to guide you in your thought process.

Hi singh8891,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How have you scored on EACH of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

pushpitkc rohan2345 Thank you guys and others for replying to my post. I have already started working on your replies.
Can you guys please help me, in details, how should I distribute my time in my GMAT exam particularly Verbal Section. How much time should I spend in reading the passage and how much time in solving the questions? Same question for CR and SC.

Can you also provide me with the way to manage time in Quant, particularly how to check the time and plan further questions during the test?

Take a look at this timing strategy for one way you could go about doing those things.
