School/Degree: Memorial University of Newfoundland, Bachelor of Business Administration
GMAT: December 2011
Work Experience: Two work terms consisting of 4 months each, one in Procurement the other in Finance, and 3+ years in Sales.
Extra curricular: Vice President of Bachelor of Commerce (2009-2011), Countless volunteer hours with the local Minor Hockey program as a coach.
Schools i'd like to apply to:
McGill
Schulich (York)
Rottman (U of T)
Ivey (Western)
Queens
My target is 700 on the GMAT, I'm more focused than ever to do this. My question, however, is will this be enough to get into one of the schools mentioned above, if not then what will be required on the GMAT to help bring up my low GPA.
If you want more detailed information about where my head is, I've recapped a little bit more info below.
So I have been a member for about 8 months or so, and I have finally bit the bullet and called it an undergrad career. I started out with Bachelor of Commerce at Memorial University of Newfoundland but after a long thought process I have opted to finish my courses this summer and take the Bachelor of Business Administration from MUN. I've decided to do this because I would be looking at full course loads over the next 8 months and would not be able to dedicate the proper time to executing a solid study schedule for my GMAT before the application process. Also I felt that if I can get a full time position in September after I graduate that I would finally have some credible work experience to bring to my resume.

All i want is some opinions on what I should aim for on my GMAT, is 700 realistic to get me into the schools above or do i need more? Any answer will get a kudos!

I've looked at Schulich and Rotman, and they're average students have I believe a 660, a 700 should do you fine. I think they look for a B average, and at least 2 years of work experience. If you have good references and a strong application otherwise, I think you have a good shot at least those two. good luck buddy.
