Hi focusGMAT2015,
If what you say is true - that you did NOT answer the final 14 questions in the Verbal section - then your Verbal score (and by extension, your Overall Score) was highly penalized. Any question that is unanswered is marked as 'incorrect' AND is assessed an additional penalty. With 14 questions in a row, that penalty would have been severe. This is all meant to say that you MUST answer ALL of the questions in a section (even if you're just guessing), so that you can avoid the penalty.
Since you didn't get to those last 14 questions, then I assume that you have a pacing problem in the Verbal section. Given that you've only been studying for a few weeks, your pacing problem is not a surprise. That having been said, you have a lot of work to do to "fix" that pacing problem AND hit your score goals.
You mentioned that you were concerned about taking the GMAT in February because that might be too late. When are the application deadlines for the School(s) that you're interested in? Have you completed the other parts of the Application(s)?
