Stanford would be the dream. Depending on GMAT score I'll align my targets/reaches/safety spread from there.

I'm absolutely comfortable with a sub-800. That's a losing proposition otherwise.

I think there is value in preparing like you are purposefully chasing perfection while maintaining managed expectations of the eventual outcome.

Trying to be perfect brings out the sensitivity to the smallest detail that otherwise may be overlooked if you are resigned to not being perfect. I can reason with myself that small details are not important if I know that I prepared to be less than perfect anyway.

I hope that's more clearly related than I made it seem!

Another way to say it. If I am intentionally preparing to be less than perfect, I am intentionally preparing to miss questions.
