Has the test been tweaked to become harder in the past 2 months before the handover to Pearson ACT? Looks like a lot of people on this site are reporting lower scores.

:roll: I don't think so? I've seen a 790, 750, 740 and so many 700+ score in the last 2 weeks!
Well, people reporting at this site is no indication of the actual trend. In my observation, most of them report their scores only if it is very low or if it is high (700+). Even I didn't share it the first time! :?
One thing is sure. Getting high score is becoming tougher, not the test itself. I mean, if a Q45 + V45 got you 710 6 months back, the same split will get you 700 today. This is just my observation.
Anyways, you can buck the trend up next week! I am sure you will!

Oh yeah...I heard they are planning to make it much harder this week and test it out to see ppl's response. All twisted :twisted: :x problems :wink: :lol: :lol:

GSR stop trying to scare duttsit. :twisted: You know he can handle anything they can throw at him. He handled just about everything you threw at him - and GMAT takers around the world should be grateful that you don't work for ETS (or Pearson). :scared

Well, for duttsit (and Laxie - she too should not be spared), I have a plan. We don't give him any answer choices. We ask him/her to fill it up! That would put us on even footing.
The value of 3458^2389 is ________.
Forgot to say, this is his/her 1st Q. If he/she answers this right, he/she'll get more high-end easy questions before we move on to medium and ...

From what I hear it's not getting harder, but the interface is changing a bit, and so are a few things for the administration, like getting dry erase boards instead of scratch paper.
