I am very frustrated on my Math performance on the GMAT. Almost all of the mistakes I make are careless ones, be it either solving simple computations or just misreading the question. Can anybody give me tips on being a more efficient test taker?
My usual advice when I observe what you described with my students is to slow down. Re-read the question if it seems too easy and check your work. At the practice stage, I would stress accuracy over speed. Spending a few more seconds on each question is worth it if it helps you avoid missing relatively easy questions at the beginning of the section.
