Yes I'm keeping an error log. Major concern lies with evaluate the argument and assumption questions. However, when comparing my mocks with practice material, both seem to be out of sync

Posted from my mobile device

My main advice for Critical Reasoning is learn how to identify the conclusion. That will help you what answer choice damages, strengths, etc the argument.

Hi uditgopalka,

Since you've been studying for the GMAT off-and-on over the last year, we have to consider whether you've seen any questions on your CATs/mocks that you have already worked through (on practice sets, miscellaneous practice questions or on CATs that you have previously taken).

1) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What "brands" of CATs/mocks have you used?
2) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Hi uditgopalka,

GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, your 5 most recent CAT score results show that you essentially performed the same each time (about 600 +/- a few points). You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also make certain consistent mistakes.

Statistically-speaking, raising a 600 to the point that you can consistently score 700+ will likely require that you commit to at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. While there's no harm in taking the GMAT in a couple of weeks, you will almost certainly end up having to take the GMAT again. If you ultimately "need" a 700+ to apply, then THAT Score Goal has to come first - and you might want to consider pushing back your Test Date so that you can hone all of the necessary skills needed to lock-in that higher Score.

1) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
2) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

I am planning to apply in Round 1 for '22 intake. Target schools are NYU Stern, Ross Michigan, Perdue,Wharton School and Arizona State Univeristy.
I am having a work experience of 4+ years, and I'm currently working as a Business Analyst(Technology Consultant) with an MNC.

I can study for 3-4 hours a day on weekdays, and atleast 7-8 hours on weekends.

I've been preparing for my GMAT for couple of months. In my last mock by veritas, I scored a V29 and Q49.
However, while doing timed practice, I'm having a accuracy of around 75-80% in verbal, on questions from official sources.
I'm planning to take my exam within next 2-3 weeks.
What should be my strategy to score a 700?
