Hello experts,

-I have been studying for almost more than 16 months (Daily 3 hrs atleast).

-For concept development, I had used Manhattan for SC, and Power score bible for CR and RC.

- Mostly, GMAT club(I send most of time here) for the practice, and 6-official mocks for test series, and 15 mocks of expert global.

Would you say that nerves are an issue when you take the GMAT?

Yeah, that was there but less compared to first time. Also, I was not able to sleep properly the night before, but to compensate that, I used energy drink.

It sounds like you took the GMAT not feeling your best.

I did not realize that it would affect that. To check that, I gave a mock under lethargic condition. Result was the same. But still, how do I plan for those aspects? Any suggestions

Sorry, I'm not quite following. What did you do when taking your practice exam?

To simulate the same condition as the exam day, I went to sleep around 3 A.M while also watching some random videos on YouTube, and woke up around 9:00 AM. That made feel a bit exhausted. On those conditions, I started my mock around 11:00 AM after my breakfast.

That's massive effort Avinash.

Out of curiosity, in your scores of 650 and 660, what was the Q/V split?

For 650, it is Q49, V30, IR5 and AWA 5.
For 660, it is Q50, V30, IR6 and AWA 5.

In that case, I do believe that Verbal is an issue Avinash; had it been just nerves, your Quant scores would have been impacted as well.

Do you have ESRs for those two attempts? Also, how did you prepare for Verbal?

ESRs are not available for the online attempts.

For Verbal, I had used Manhattan for SC, and power score for CR and RC, and GMAT club Resources.

The prep GMAT tests are highly accurate in their calculation of the scores you get during the mocks. There will be as little difference (+/- 10) between your last justified GMAT prep mock attempt and your real GMAT exam.

I agree. The GMAT Prep tests are accurate. So, what you score on those tests, you should be able to score on the actual GMAT.
