I've just started GMAT and plan to sit for the test in late July or early August. I'm a bit confused with the recommended material. People often mention about these books:
1> ETS' Official Guide, 11th Edition
2> ETS' Official Guide, 10th Edition
3> Nova
4> Cliff PrepTest
5> The 1000 Questions
6> GMAT Power Prep (software)
7> Princeton
...
...and a bunch of miscellaneous files here and there that I can download.
Can anyone tell me the first THREE books that I should start with, and what are other possible things to do on top of that?
I'd also want to clarify these books, for example that "1000 SC", I've got the soft copy of it, but is there a "1000 CR", a "1000 RC"? What about the Quantitative stuff, is there a 1000 set for it? Samething, when people talk about the Princeton, which one is it? I don't see it anywhere on the net...
One more thing, is it possible to share these materials here? Let's say we'll upload it somewhere and post the links in a sticky thread. The newbies really need this.

Welcome on board buddy!!
1. Click on search on the header and type 1000 files. You will get all 1000 files - SC, CR, RC, PS and DS.
2. What materiasl you should have depends on your strengths and weaknesses. The best way to rectify your weakness in either of the two is first to master the concepts and second to practice practice ad practice.
3. Verbal Concepts:
a. Manhattan SC Guide - Just Awesome.
b. Princeton/Kaplan verbal books for both CR and RC.
4. Veral Practice:
a. 1000 files
b. OG
c. A combination of Kaplan/Manhattan
5. Quant concepts:
a. Very basics - OG, Princeton and Kaplan
b. Indepth - Kaplan 800 and Manhattan
c. Specific topics - Books on topics such as Probabiliity, P&S and such
6. Quant practice:
a. OG
b. 1000 files
c. Kaplan
d. most advanced - GMATCLUB challenges.
As always, this is my personal opinion. I am sure there are other sources too. Hope this helps.
