They have different questions.

The  Official Guide for DI  is a significantly better value for the cost per question (221 questions for $20.99, vs. 110 questions for $29.99). You could start with that one.

Alternatively, the best value now is  all 4 OG 2023-2024 books on Amazon, for $47 with the coupon  (screenshot below). Then you can register them for online access at mba.com. Bought separately at mba.com, those 4 products would be $111 total.

Once you feel confident on the content itself and question types, I often suggest doing "fake tests" of 20 questions in 45 minutes, to simulate the time management needed for the actual exam. You can adjust the difficulty to your level, based on which questions you choose.  Screenshots of the interface and question breakdown for both products are below.

Also, here is data from 7 official practice tests, with the number of questions of each type.

all these questions seem to be repeat only .. except q 28 which it seems to be of stats and not a DS verbal logic type..

could you please share a brief of what exactly is there mentioned under the topic chapter 4 Data insights Review & 5 Data insights of this book? does it any where mention anything about DS verbal logic questions? any example shared?

In the book the only questions are those you see all repeated but the #28

I did not redeem the online bank yet. I am focusing on the books at the moment

IMO the online question bank would be for IR questions only.. had there been any new question type then the same should have been given in the OG as well , which the case isn't ... nevertheless will wait for you to complete the comparison.. as then only can conclude on anything about the new release..

However, keep in mind that IF the main OG and the DI guide have zero but one new question, I do not think we will have in the QR and VR guides.

yes you are right carcass .. but there is a GMAT™ Focus Official Practice Questions Bundle as well , not sure whether there we may get to see any new questions? https://www.mba.com/exam-prep/gmat-focu ... ons-bundle also unlike the previous editions when gmac released new OG I assume 2020 edition there they had then mentioned new , unseen questions .. but this time around GMAC has not mentioned anything like this on any of its new released books which could be a takeaway of expecting no new question...

Who wants to be sucker to shell out $79 and tell us that there are no new questions? Who is going to take the bait?

I guess for someone who is starting to study, and who has not used previous resources, this is still valuable since all questions are new to them but for the old timers probably not so much...

Let me tell you a little story. When, long time ago, the Metallica albums Load and Re-load were released we had a round table among friends with some beer to discuss the new albums. Already from the covers that were really ugly for a thrash band we have had a bad omen Then, we started to see if some riff was heavier than others, some bridge was thrashy , and so forth. However, in the end we were trying to see what was not there in reality. Those songs and albums were crap. Light years from the golden era. All this to say what: already from the main OG with no new questions and going further into the other OGs we are trying to see what, in reality, is NOT contained in them. That's the point. I have purchased the most expensive product on the GMAT store for the new focus edition https://www.mba.com/exam-prep/gmat-offi ... stion-bank and the result = zero Buying or having the following https://www.mba.com/exam-prep/gmat-focu ... ons-bundle will not change the result. Moreover, if you see GMAT™ Focus Official Practice Questions - Data Insights https://www.mba.com/exam-prep/gmat-focu ... a-insights in the description we do have you have DS + IR. Period. Not only that: now that I have all the guides they simply did the following - at least at the moment I am writing main OG QR - they inserted just the problem solving VR - they just inserted the RC and CR DI - they just inserted the DS questions I do not know for what arcane reason they have just added one book instead to insert the DS into the quantitative review book. Why all this? Marketing strategy at its finest? .......who knows

Does anyone want to bet $29 that there are no new questions in the verbal question pack?

Well, I found a sucker - ME! I bought GMAT™ Focus Official Practice Questions – Verbal

Spent the last few hrs going through the questions and comparing them to the other question pack and they are all repeats (minus the SC).
One annoying feature of the online question bank is that RC's are served separately and split up. Not sure why or how that happened but was pretty annoying. I only got RC's and CR's (I think they simply deleted the SC"s)

P.S. the Promo Code SKILLS10 works by the way. If you are going to buy one of the Question packs, use the code to get 10% off.
Anyway, if you have not used the question product from before, definitely a good source of 110 official RC's and CR's but if you have this product already, then it won't give you anything new.

P.S. You get access for 1 year. I did not find that mentioned anywhere in the description or the details of the product.
I did not buy Data Insights or the Quant Question collection - still licking my wounds from this purchase.
