Thanks for your response. I noticed there is a discount on the Guide Bundle 2026–2027, and I want to study all the official materials, leaving no stones unturned.
Could you please clarify this for me: If I purchase the
Guide Bundle 2026–2027: eBook & Online Question Bank, will the bundle’s online question bank include all the questions available in the individual online question banks that come with each of the four books? Please help me with this, thanks!
Hi. Yes - the bundle is the same as buying each individual book. There’s just a discount for buying four books at the same time versus individually.
You will get the question bank that comes with the book which basically is the same questions that are in this addition plus a couple hundred more questions from the previous additions that have been retired. But in general the question banks that you get are the same content that you get in the book.
If you get the physical book then having the online question bank is convenient because you can build quizzes out of them but it’s still a bit annoying because it’s unpredictable which questions you’re going to get and it’s a mess coordinating them so most people either use the online question bank with the official questions or they use the book or the PDF if you buy the electronic version but again that question bank is pretty much equivalent to the content of the book plus some old retired questions that have been removed since.
Keep in mind that these adjust questions and there are no strategies that you will receive to help you efficiently answer them.
The GMAT is a test of carefully managing your time and for that purpose and especially for the verbal questions you need to get a book with strategies. You can get either of the
Manhattan books or the PowerScore books which only have verbal. Those are great supplements to help you learn about each question type how to approach them optimal methods to answer them how to manage your time on the test, how to read reading comprehension passages and they’ll point out traps and things of that nature - again the things that the official guide will not include.
