Hi
Sherry2101You do have an option to choose among three different sequences in the offline GMAT. The default section order is Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. But you have the flexibility to change that. These are the two other options you have.
Verbal first: Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, Analytical Writing Assessment
Quantitative first: Quantitative, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning, Analytical Writing Assessment
AWA and IR are not scored in your 800 score so you can keep them in the end and use your initial energy to get done with the things that matter. But also suppose you enter an exam hall after a 30-60 mins drive, Some GMAT formalities such as palm scanning and taking a photograph. Now you are in a situation where you have to give the test sitting in front of a system you are using for the first time. So AWA and IR allow you some time to settle and get adjusted to the surroundings. You won't want to use the first 10 quant questions to figure out how you want your mouse and notes to be. In those cases, As AWA and IR are not a deciding factor for Mba colleges, you can use them to your benefit. But if you are quick to adapt and low on stamina, definitely go for Verbal or Quant first and keep AWA and IR towards the end. Hope this helps.
