Thank you for your response! Is the question pool different for older mocks vs mocks 5-6?
I can only purchase 1 pack (either 3-4 or 5-6). Which would you suggest?
The question pool is completely different for each pair.

Get 5 and 6 because those are the most recent ones.

You could also retake test 2 since the first two tests have a big question bank. So, you won't see many repeats and will get some practice.

Hi Rochix123,

If you're looking for some NEW CATs/mocks to work with, purchasing either of the Official Exam packs would be a reasonable choice. It's worth noting that a CAT is really a 'measuring device' though - when used correctly, it will give you a realistic score and help define your strengths and weaknesses, but it will NOT help you to fix any of those weaknesses. To raise your scores, you have to learn the necessary Tactics and put in the proper practice and repetitions. The CAT will show you whether your studies are helping you to improve or not. In addition, the process of taking (and reviewing) a CAT requires a significant amount of energy and effort - and takes time to 'recover' from. This is one of the reasons why you typically should not take more than 1 CAT per week - and your last CAT should be taken about 1 week before Test Day. Going forward, you really should not take more than 1 FULL CAT per week.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Rochix123,

The questions from mocks 1 and 2 will not be on mocks 3 through 6.

Hi All,
I have taken Official Practice mock 1 and 2 on mba.com
However, I reset both those mocks and took OG Practice mock 1 a second time.
I am now confused whether I should purchase OG practice mocks 3-4 or 5-6 since the questions might repeat.

What do yall suggest? Is the question pool same for all 6 mocks or is it different for the first 2?
If I purchase mocks 3-4, will I be seeing repeated questions? and is it still worth getting them?

Thank you

Hi Rochix123

You need to worry about the repetition of questions in the other set of official mocks. Safe to go ahead and purchase the remaining ones.

Hello Everyone,
Do the questions from official guide and official guide for quant and verbal review repeat in GMAC mocks? I am planning to do all OG questions and also purchase mocks 3,4,5, and 6. However, I do not want any repetition in the mocks as that would skew the estimated score.

Hi MJ2488,

I don't think there's any overlap between the official practice tests and the OGs. I'm not sure about the older OGs, but you shouldn't face any issues if you're working with more recent OGs.
