GMAT OG Verbal Review: should I buy 2019 if I have 2018?  [#permalink]

This is my first time preparing for the GMAT, and I have the official verbal review from 2018(online not included)
I'm wondering if it would be wise to buy another from 2019, but I don't think it would be worth it if most of the questions overlap with the 2018 one.
How many questions overlap with the 2018 one? and is the online content worth paying for?

Hi kyuhunl,

Welcome to GMATCLUB. If you already have the previous version of the verbal review, I wouldn't recommend to buy the new version as most of the questions do overlap. You can find the new questions on GMATCLUB https://gmatclub.com/forum/the-official ... 68445.html. Instead I would also encourage you to purchase GMATPREP official question pack for some great additional practice.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi kyuhunl.

According to the description on Amazon, the 2019 OG for Verbal Review contains 300 questions of which 255 are the same as those in the 2018 OG for Verbal Review.

The online questions are the same as those in the book, just in an online format.

Generally the Kindle edition of the OG for Verbal Review costs around $8. You can use the Kindle edition and the online questions that accompany it even if you don't have a Kindle.

The Kindle edition of the 2019 OG for Verbal review is not out yet, but if you are still prepping in a few months and feel like spending $8 for 45 more verbal practice questions, you could check to see whether the Kindle edition has come out.
