Hi kritesh92,

Your question is ultimately about what each SCHOOL'S Admissions Department will do in the future, so I doubt that anyone here can say for sure what the answer to that question will be. That having been said, the At-home GMAT is administered by GMAC, the Test comes with an Official Score Report and is valid for 5 years (in the same ways that an Official GMAT taken at a Testing Facility are), so it's reasonable to assume that Schools would view those results as a reasonably accurate assessment of the test-taker's skills (even a couple of years in the future).

GMAC says that the GMAT online scores are valid for 5 years. Will universities continue to accept GMAT online once the covid situation stabilizes in a year or two?

Hello, kritesh92. Unless it became apparent that the online test had been compromised at some point and that a certain contingent of test-takers may have earned artificially inflated scores—once GMAC™ had canceled the scores of known cheaters—I cannot see how universities would hold it against candidates who submitted such scores. With the in-exam digital whiteboard crashes and other issues I have read about, such as a moderator showing up late or a user experiencing a login snafu, I think most admissions committees will be receptive to viewing online scores on the same basis as post-COVID, test-center scores.

Hi kritesh92,

To be honest they could not offer the online GMAT unless it was taken seriously by Business Schools whether in 1 year or 4 years. So, I would not really worry about schools not considering the online GMAT.
