GMAT online exam being reviewed

Question

hey guys, I took my GMAT exam online for the first time yesterday Q49 V25 as I expected... I felt like everything went as smooth as possible, no interactions between me and my proctor during the test only when everything closed down in the middle of my exam, and i talked to my proctor said she will log me back in to the exam and that's it. I did not take any of the optional breaks and proctor asked me to show her my physical whiteboard and a 360 room view at the beginning and end of the exam. That's it. Today i get an email from test security telling me that my GMAT exam is undergoing a review that may take up to 20 business days. Once this review is completed you will be notified via email. I really wouldn't want to take the exam again is that frequent these days? thanks.

this is something which is very usual these days especially with online exam.
you have to wait for response from gmac , unfortunately wait is the only thing you can do now..

Need to wait for a response. However, generally the response is received within two weeks.

Probably fair to say these reviews are not uncommon. Had a student who reached out after a 700, for example. He took 6 hours of tutoring and got a 760 in about 10 days (so some people do - "I really wouldn't want to take the exam again is that frequent these days?"). Ultimately, the score went into review and took 15 business days to become Official. Hopefully, nothing to worry about on your end as well.

There are a variety of potential 'events' during your Exam that could trigger a review (even if they ultimately did not impact your performance). For example, if you were reading out-loud, frequently looking off-screen (at a location other than your note-pad) or if someone else was in the room at any point during your Test. Assuming that you were not actively trying to cheat during the Exam - and there weren't any significant irregularities in how you took the Test - then it's likely that this result will be certified and you'll be set to submit it as part of your applications.
