Hi 5MoreMonths,

First off, both a 690/Q49 and a 700/Q44 are fantastic overall Scores, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, another retest might not be necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

I might have just misread the pricing chart, but when I read one re-take available, I understood that to mean one re-take is included in the initial $250 fee. When I attempt to schedule a re-take it's asking for payment information and another $250. Was my understanding incorrect?

On and after May 20, 2021 - The total exam time is 3 hours 7 minutes, not including two optional 8-minute breaks. The GMAT online Exam costs $250 and the registration fees include unlimited score sending. Candidates can reschedule their exam appointment any time before their scheduled exam time for a fee.

I've actually taken it 3 times now, each with two year layoffs in between. I'm starting B-School this August and was looking to get over 700 to get over that MBB cut line, which I did with this last attempt. My only concern is that I underperformed on Quant which can be a red flag.

Any thoughts on whether I should re-take or whether referencing my previous Q47 in interviews / applications would be enough?

2017: 680 (V38, Q44)
2019: 690 (V37, Q47)
2021: 700 (V41, Q44)

If you can score Q47 (or higher) along with V41, you will have a heck of a GMAT score. So, if you are able to, I think giving the GMAT one more shot is not a bad call.
