Hi Helen,
I'm sorry to hear about the technical issues that you faced when you attempted to take the At-home GMAT; that must have been incredibly frustrating. Just to confirm though: did you choose NOT to take the GMAT at that time? Assuming that you chose not to, then it certainly sounds as though you will be granted a free, new Test Date if you ask for it (since a 1.5 hour wait due to techincal issues that were not your fault is not a reasonable situation for any Test-taker). If you did not take the Test, then you would not have to wait 16 days either. Since we're in the 'slow' time of the year for the GMAT, you might not have to wait too long to hear back from Customer Service (once you have submitted your complaint), although it's certainly possible that it could be a couple of days (or more).
