Hey everyone,
I took my second GMAT online exam on December 31st, just 17 days after my first attempt at the test center. My first score was 615 (93rd percentile in Verbal, 66th in both Data Interpretation and Quantitative), but I believe nerves played a big role in those lower scores, especially in the Quant and DI sections.
For my second attempt, I decided to change my approach. I started with Verbal to build confidence, followed by Quant and DI. Being at home also helped calm my nerves, and I felt more comfortable. As a result, I scored 675 (79th percentile in DI and Verbal, 97th percentile in Quant). However, during the exam, the proctor did correct me a couple of times for reading out loud and for getting too close to the screen, which caused me to move out of the camera’s view. I immediately corrected myself when she mentioned it.
The day after the test, I received an email saying my exam was under “routine” security review. It’s been 9 days now (5 working days), and I still haven’t received my official score. I’ve been reading forum posts about GMAT online scores being cancelled, and now I’m feeling quite stressed.
How common is it for GMAC to cancel scores? Has anyone else had their scores delayed after the security review? I’m particularly concerned because my Quant score saw a significant increase compared to my first test. Should I be worried?
Thanks!:blushing:
