Hi,

I'm new to this site. Just discovered it through google while searching for GMAT forums.

I find this site really good and beneficial. I wish to be involved actively in this forum now onwards as I'm planning to appear for GMAT in September'05.

I guess a brief introduction about myself would help break the ice .
I've done B.Tech. in Computer Science from India. I have been working in IT field for past 2 yrs (most of the time abroad at client site).

I'm actually looking for some quick replies to my queries today. If anybody has filled online GMAT registration form, kindly help me.

I've following queries regarding the information that I need to provide in the "Work and Educational Experience" section of the Form:

1. My Undergraduate degree was B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology) with Computer Science and Engineering as the Major field of Study. What should I specify in the section that asks about the "Major or Field of Study"?
I'm confused because I've done Engineering with Computer Science as the major field of sudy and the form lists "Engineering" and "Computer Science" as two seperate options.

2. In the "Academic Performance" Section, the third column contains a percentage range to calculate the corresponding GPA. What does this percentage represent?
Is it the percentile i.e. my scores normalized against the best scores in my branch or just my scores represented in precentage?

Many Thanks

My understanding is that ETS will label whatever you entered "self-reported" and part of these information will appear on score report.
